President Donald Trump participated in a town hall hosted by Fox News’ Harris Faulkner this week, where he spoke to a crowd of all-women voters about critical issues affecting them every day.
The broadcast gave women a unique chance to ask the 45th and prospective 47th president questions, and his answers were impactful.
One woman named Linda asked President Trump about the issue of male incursion into women’s sports.
“How do you plan on addressing the transgender issue in women’s sports? I have nine grandchildren, six of them female – all playing sports. We are very concerned for their safety,” she said.
“It’s such an easy question – we’re not going to let it happen,” Trump said.
He said he would ban men from playing in women’s sports by utilizing executive authority.
The president also tackled the important issue of IVF and fertility treatment in the United States, which has become a hot-button issue for many female voters.
One woman asked about his current stance on IVF access for women seeking to expand their families.
“We really are the party for IVF – we want [in-vitro] fertilization, and it’s all the way…we’re totally in favor of it,” he said.
President Trump has repeatedly emphasized his support for IVF access in the United States, and even supports a proposal that would force health insurance to cover fertility-related treatment.
Currently, fertility treatment is generally not covered by health insurance in the United States.
The average cost of one round of IVF treatment in America today costs at least $20,000, as previously reported by WRN.
President Trump further addressed the topic of safety and security on American soil in light of the rapid increase in violent illegal migrant-related crime in America.
A woman named Nancy shared her story, and noted that her son was on campus in Georgia when young college student Laken Riley was slain by an alleged illegal migrant.
What will the president do to ensure that students like Riley can have the right to go on a walk or live their lives without fear of being killed by a violent predator?
“First of all, we’re going to end all sanctuary cities,” Trump said.
He also referred to invoking the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which provides a federal tool for immediately removing foreign invaders from American soil.
Critically, the president additionally talked about how he would address the skyrocketing costs of childcare in America, which has become astronomically expensive.
He discussed the importance of slashing taxes across the board, which would contribute to lowering costs for everyone – especially for working mothers.
“We’re going to readjust things so that it’s fair to everybody,” he said.
