Today in D.C. – Women in Washington, D.C., are rallying to protest the inauguration of 47th President-Elect Donald J. Trump, and they’re doing so in the name of abortion – kind of.
In videos circulating on X, women can be seen marching through the city on Saturday while screaming obscenities like “F*** you, fascists!” and other statements that purport anti-Trump sentiments.

According to Fox News, the women requested an event permit for up to 50,000 people this year, but a reported 25,000 actually showed up.
Protestor’s concerns about Trump seem to be centered on the belief that he will rob them of access to abortion or oppress the transgender movement in America.
This video from Savanah Hernandez, for example, shows drag queens holding signs that read, “The Bible Never Prohibits Abortion” and “Equal Rights Amendment Now.”
Many protestors also seem to be concerned about their access to contraceptives:
And strangely enough, a float in the women’s march – which is officially called the “People’s March” these days – featured rabble-rousers chanting anti-law enforcement sentiments on a speaker system. “Oink, oink, piggy, piggy, we’re gonna make your life sh***y,” one protestor shouted, in footage obtained by The Post Millennial.
Frankly, the demonstrations on Saturday seemed disjointed and rudderless. The protest is, perhaps, a good analogy for the leftist movement itself, which was politically crushed in 2024 when Trump won a landslide re-election against Kamala “Mamala” Harris, the poster child of failed radical feminist ideology.

The overall low turnout for the protest this year is a good sign for Trump – it signals waning dissent from radical leftists and an expansive readiness to dismiss Joe Biden from the White House. Everyone seems to realize just how bad the last four years has been without Trump.
Even Politico noted in a Saturday article:
“The smaller, quieter march is a reflection of the muted exasperation and a likely symptom of political fatigue that has settled in among anti-Trump forces that were once the driving force of American politics. Democrats are wondering how to reassemble a winning coalition that was once organized around opposition, with many pondering if they should just find a way to work with the figure they once called a threat to democracy itself.”
President Trump’s inauguration is scheduled to take place indoors in the Capitol Rotunda on Monday, January 20. According to the Trump Vance Inaugural Committee, the Presidential Parade will also be moved inside due to cited concerns with Arctic weather patterns.
