Trump-endorsed veteran Abe Hamadeh has won his congressional race in District 8 in Arizona, according to recent projections from Decision Desk.
Hamadeh’s victory in Arizona is a big one for the America First movement. He ran strongly on election integrity and border security, and it looks like that message resonated with voters.
The congressman-elect told Write Revolution News in October, “I’m a happy warrior…We can’t be as miserable as the left, we have to be happy and we have to be proud to be put on this earth at this moment for a reason.”
Hamadeh’s happy warrior approach has earned him a seat in Congress.
“This is a victory for every Arizonan who’s fed up with open borders, skyrocketing prices, and a political class that has sold our country out to the highest bidder,” Hamadeh said in a statement on Tuesday.
Hamadeh will head to the House in 2025 in what looks to be a solid Republican majority, completing a GOP trifecta – the presidency, the U.S. Senate, and the House of Representatives.
“This isn’t just about policy; it’s about the courage to fight for the values that have made America the greatest country in the world,” he said.
Hamadeh has been a staunch ally to President Donald Trump so far, and he previously told WRN that he would support the president’s agenda to swiftly put an end to the illegal immigration crisis.
Restoring American sovereignty is a day one-issue for the incoming Trump administration, and it’s good to know Arizonans will have a fighter in Congress who will work with the president to further that agenda.
Hamadeh ran for attorney general in 2022 and narrowly lost to Democrat Kris Mayes by a razor-slim margin of 280 votes, which drew many raised eyebrows amid rumblings of election irregularities.
He bounced back quickly and even beat out another Republican congressional candidate in the primary over the summer, Blake Masters.
