President Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States and now, the 47th President-Elect, gave remarks in the early morning hours following Election Day in West Palm Beach Florida, at an electrifying watch party following a decisive and crushing landslide victory that was truly too big to rig.
“This was a movement like nobody’s ever seen before,” the president said, standing onstage surrounded by his entire family, “Frankly, this was, I believe, the greatest political movement of all time – there’s never been anything like it in this country.”
Trump continued, “And now it’s going to reach a new level of importance because we’re going to help our country heal; we have a country that needs help and it needs help very badly.”
The president said “we won for a reason tonight.” He added, “We overcame obstacles that nobody thought possible…It is now clear that we have now achieved the most incredible political [victory].”
He thanked the American people for the “incredible honor of being elected 45th president and 47th president!”
The crowd was boisterous and electrified – cheering and applauding throughout his remarks.
“I will fight for you for your family and your future every single day – I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body [and] I will not rest until we have delivered a strong safe and prosperous America that you deserve,” he continued.
He looked ahead to a “golden age of America” and heralded the “magnificent victory” that would enable him and his team to make the country GREAT again.
Remarkably, President Trump also won the POPULAR VOTE this year – the first time he has ever done so, and by millions of vote.
“America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate,” he added.
Following Election Day, Republicans gained control of the Senate and maintained control of the House of Representatives. This is a HUGE win – this will give President Trump’s second administration serious teeth.
The president also thanked his family and his “beautiful wife, Melania” onstage.
“We’re going to make [America] so great – the greatest country and potentially the greatest country in the world by far,” he said, speaking of restoring American greatness and might.
Ultimately, President Trump thanked the PEOPLE for delivering such a GREAT win.
“I want to thank the millions of hardworking Americas who have ALWAYS been the heart and soul of this really great movement,” he said.
“We’re going to do the BEST job,” he added.
Meaningfully, he also remarked, “This will FOREVER be remembered as the day the American people REGAINED control of their country.”
The president also made a strong promise that the American people can count on. “God spared my life for a reason – and that reason was to save our country and restore our country to greatness, and now, we’re going to fulfill that mission together,” he said.
Trump went on, “Nothing will stop me from keeping my word to you, the people – we will make America, strong, prosperous, powerful, and free again.”
He invited the country to join him on this “noble and righteous endeavor” and called for an end to division and elevated unity.
“I will NOT let you down,” he vowed.
And now, the 45th president – and the 47th president-elect – will begin his transition back to the White House.
