Final Trump Rally Series – President Donald Trump’s final rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, kicked off just after midnight, slipping into the early hours of the morning of Election Day 2024 – and the president was as confident and energetic as ever, looking toward a likely victory on Tuesday and urging Michigan and all Americans to VOTE.
“The ball is in our hands,” he said.
He told rallygoers a victory on Tuesday would be a display of shattering unity. “We’re going to blow this thing away,” he said.
The president noted how well early voting has been going so far, with massive leads in key battleground states. All that’s left is for same-day voters to show up in huge numbers, which would effectively block any vestige of hope Kamala Harris has of winning the White House.
President Trump moved at a comfortable and clipped pace through his speech. With a vote for Trump, he promised, “Your paychecks will be higher, your streets will be safer and cleaner, your communities will be richer and your future as an American will be much better than it ever has been when I get in, because this will be the golden age of America.”
He also reflected on surviving an assassination attempt July 13, when a bullet ripped through his ear. “It was a miracle, or a gift from God, maybe,” he remarked, noting that if he had not turned his head at the perfect moment, he would have perished.
“I hope that God did put me here to really save this country,” he said, pausing.
In a touching moment, he stopped to thank the American men and women who have supported him and taken him to this critical moment in history.
“As we stand on the brink of rescuing our country I want to take a moment to thank the millions of hardworking men and women who are the heart and soul of this -the greatest movement of all time – because it’s you more so than me,” he said.
The president continued to speak from the heart.
“You’ve given your time, your money and your whole heart for this cause and your support of me means more than anything you can even understand – I love you all, you’re very special, this is my last rally,” he said.
Will there ever be anything like a Trump rally in modern America?
“There will never be anything like it,” the president said.
