Final Trump Rally Series – President Donald Trump has vowed strongly to protect American women in many ways – whether through implementing safe and sane border security policies or by removing human traffickers from American soil – and on Saturday, he specifically focused on keeping men out of women’s sports.
During a massive rally in Salem, Virginia – the second of three rallies on his docket Saturday – he invited the women of the Roanoke College female swim team onstage to discuss the important issue of keeping males out of female spaces and off their playing field.
“The brave members of the swim team stood up to the transgender fanatics,” President Trump said.
In 2023, the Roanoke College women’s swim team was shocked when a “trans athlete” asked to join their league. According to Cardinal News, this individual had previously competed on a men’s swim team.
The female swimmers of Roanoke opposed such an addition, and controversy ensued. Ultimately, the unnamed trans athlete withdrew his request to join the team, per the outlet.
On Saturday, that swim team joined the president onstage, where brave student and swimmer Lily Mullens gave brief remarks.
“Men are competing against women of all ages in all sports,” she said. “…Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have advocated for and pushed for this anti-woman, sex-based discrimination to continue all over the country.”
“Point-blank, it’s unfair,” Mullens continued.
She thanked President Trump for “standing with women and promising to protect the rights of all of us.”
Indeed, President Trump has often reiterated his vow to keep men out of women’s sports. It has become a major component of his Agenda47 policy platform.
“We are SO lucky to have a leader like Donald Trump with common sense who knows what a strong woman is and will fight for generations of girls to come,” Mullens concluded.
