President Donald Trump rallied in Henderson, Nevada on Thursday, amid a busy day of three campaign stops, urging Nevadans to early vote before their window of opportunity ends – and heralding the huge Republican turnout in early voting nationwide.
“We can close this thing out,” he said.
Interestingly, when President Trump asked the crowd who had not yet voted, it appeared that the majority of the audience did not raise their hand.
“As you know, Democrats always lead in the early part…we’re doing really well,” he said, noting the historical significance of Republican strength in early voting.
“And if you can’t make it tomorrow, you’ve got to make a plan [to vote],” Trump emphasized. In-person early voting ends November 1. Nevadans have until Friday to cast an early vote.
President Trump also drew attention to the border crisis that has been unleashed under Kamala Harris and her destructive regime. He hammered her hard for allowing the crisis to continue, unfetterd.
“Over the past four years Kamala has orchestrated the most egregious betrayal that any American leader has ever inflicted,” he said.
But help is on the way. “November 5, 2024 will be Liberation Day in America,” the president promised.
In a solemn moment, President Trump invited the family of Nicholas Quets onstage. Nicholas was killed by a gunman allegedly working for a Mexican cartel. Nicholas was also an American Marine.
“Help us get justice for Nicholas,” said the fallen Marine’s mother onstage.
Nicholas’s father, Doug, gave lengthy remarks onstage and praised President Trump and Sen. J.D. Vance for helping his family get some answers on what happened to their son after being all but abandoned by the federal government.
“Both [Trump and Vance] met with me within 36 hours of asking and both took up the cause,” said Mr. Quets.
Quets noted the horrendous political failures that allowed such a violent killing of an American to take place. “Those are political failures and we need to end them,” he said.
In conclusion on that point, President Trump vowed, “We’ll take care of it. We’re going to GET that guy, we’re going to get him…They know who he is.”
He added. “Mexico’s going to give him to us, they have to…it’s going to be real easy.”
For the cartels and the human smugglers and violent criminals who have committed crimes against Americans, President Trump will soon bring justice back to the White House.
