President Donald Trump acknowledged the historic movement that started nine years ago when he came down the golden escalator at Trump Tower while speaking in Michigan on Saturday, highlighting the rapidly approaching culmination of years of hard-fought battles and trials.

“After all we’ve been through together, we stand on the verge of the four greatest years in the history of our country,” he said during a rally in Novi.

The president seemed deeply touched as he reflected on the significance of this movement to reclaim American greatness and liberty.

“You know, this is a little bit sad,” he said. “In another 11 days we won’t be doing this anymore…we’ve had the greatest rallies [and] the greatest time.”

Trump continued, “And, probably, it will never happen again – when you have a candidate in four years, he’ll come to beautiful Michigan and he’ll bring with him about 200 people.”

The president lauded the incredible “spirit” of the MAGA movement and paused to wonder if this magic could ever be recreated. “I don’t know if it’s going to be replicated,” he remarked.

President Trump added meaningfully, “I just want to tell you, I love you all.”

The crowd chanted, “WE LOVE TRUMP!”

He closed his remarks with a promise: “We will redeem America’s purpose, we will put America first, and we will take back the nation that we love.”
