President Donald Trump participated in a special roundtable event courting Latino voters in Miami on Tuesday, amid massive support from Latino voters with just 14 days to go until Election Day.
He acknowledged the political “love affair” his campaign has had with Latino voters since 2016. “The level of genius, entrepreneurship, [and] energy that they have…I like them and they like me,” he said.
In a poll recently released on Fox News, conducted by USA Today/Suffolk University, the president leads nationwide with likely Latino voters over Harris by an impressive 11 points.
This is no small feat – the Latino vote is a critical voting bloc, and President Trump’s dominant polling in this demographic hints at just how powerful his electoral strength may be in two weeks.
The president also poked fun at his political opponent during his comments, roasting her for her lack of energy.
“She’s off [the campaign trail today],” he remarked. “…Who the HELL takes a day off when you have 14 days left? You know why? She’s lazy as hell, and she’s got that reputation. She’s a radical-left lunatic.”
President Trump further acknowledged the critical nature of this election.
“If we lose this election, we may not have a country anymore,” he commented.
The president discussed the importance of revitalizing the American economy, leaning into a policy of “intelligent taxation, tariffs, and incentives,” while warning conservatives not to “play games” with the lies of the enemy.
“We can’t play games with these people,” he remarked, calling out Kamala Harris for her blatant untruths. “…These are dangerous people.”
One concerned business owner took the mic and expressed his concern that President Trump wouldn’t be able to turn the country around and undo the damage the left has done in just a four-year term.
“I think we’re going to get it going very quickly, actually,” Trump responded. “…We have some very good foundation[s].”
He highlighted his famously effective Trump Tax Cuts and noted how quickly he would bring businesses into the United States upon a prospective 2025 administration.
