Actor Dennis Quaid lit up the stage on Saturday in the hot desert of Coachella Valley before President Donald Trump’s scheduled remarks, surprising the crowd and drawing huge cheers and applause.

“I’m here today to tell ya that it’s time to pick a side,” he said simply.

Quaid asked, “Are we going to be a nation that stands for the Constitution or for TikTok?”

Quaid stirred the crowd be throwing it back to President Ronald Reagan, whom he coincidentally made a movie about this year.

“Are we going to be a nation of law and order or wide open borders?” he commented.

He said Reagan was his favorite president of the 20th century, but Donald Trump was his favorite president of this century.

“It’s amazing how the issues of the 1980s election are very similar to what they are today,” he said.

He noted that when Reagan ran in the 80s, he asked Americans one simple question: “Are you better of than you were four years ago?”

“Like I said before people, it’s time to pick a side! Who are we going to pick?”

The crowd made their response clear: President Donald J. Trump!
