As President Donald Trump continues to campaign for re-election in battleground states like Wisconsin and Michigan – and takes briefings on the disaster situation of Hurricane Helene in the Southeast United States – he has taken a big lead over Kamala Harris.
According to trusted pollster Rasmussen Reports, President Trump has taken a 7-point national lead “overnight” between Thursday to Friday (Oct. 3-4), their data showed.
Could it be that President Trump’s leadership in the midst of such devastation while the Biden-Harris administration is absent has driven even more national support for his campaign?
Impressively, an updated election forecast from JL Partners (Oct. 4) projected President Trump with a potential electoral college win of 287 on November 5, with the majority of critical swing states going bright red.
In their forecast, the president’s odds are 13.5 points up over Kamala Harris nationally.
On Friday, President Trump traveled to the Southeast once again to receive a briefing on the relief efforts after Hurricane Helene ripped through multiple states. Friday’s briefing took place in Georgia, where he joined Gov. Brian Kemp in giving remarks to the press following the meeting.
“Our hearts break for the more than 200 American families that have lost their lives already,” he said.
