President Trump is holding steady in the presidential race in 2024, proving that despite negative mainstream media coverage and horrific assassination attempts, he’s still standing stronger than ever.
A new poll from Rasmussen Reports has found the president with at least a 2-point lead over Harris – the data was collected between Sept. 19 and Sept. 25.
This is a very good sign for President Trump. Their poll also had President Trump tied with Harris in Pennsylvania.
Data in the Keystone State has fluctuated quite a bit over the past few weeks, so it’s hard to say just how close the race may turn out to be on Election Day for Commonwealth voters.
A recent poll from NPR/Marist, for example, had Trump tied with Harris in Pennsylvania and North Carolina. They also showed Trump up in Georgia and Arizona.
A poll from InsiderAdvantage conducted in late August showed Trump up by one point in Pennsylvania.
Again, the numbers have bounced around quite a bit following Joe Biden’s exit from the race.
Some sources have suggested that internal polling in the Harris campaign have shown that she is down significantly in the Keystone State, with some rumors circulating that she could be as far down as four points.
Voter registration activist Scott Presler, who has spent this election cycle registering Republican voters in Pennsylvania, said recently that Democrat mail-in ballot requests are down by 360,000 this year.
According to Polymarket’s projected market odds, President Trump had “flipped Pennsylvania” on Wednesday, Sept. 25 with a 51 percent chance of winning against Harris’s 49 percent.
On Thursday, their model projected Trump and Harris were tied at 50 percent.
They otherwise had him up by wide margins in Arizona and Georgia, but showed him tied with Harris in Nevada and her leading in Wisconsin and Michigan.
Oddly, despite Harris’s widespread unpopularity, Polymarket gave her a 73 percent chance of winning the popular vote against Trump’s 26 percent (as Sept. 26). Time will tell with that one.
At the end of the day, polls can serve as an interesting litmus test for some areas of the country, but it’s impossible to discern how many people will quietly vote for Trump (as they did in 2016 and 2020). The “silent majority” may come out to play in 2024 on a massive scale, and although such a show of electoral power is not guaranteed, it seems more likely now than in previous election cycles.
The stakes are higher. The candidates are wildly different. The world is on the brink of global war. The illegal immigration crisis is unsustainable. The American people are due to decide which direction the country will go.
Which way, Western man?
