This week, Biden administration Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo stated during an interview on MSNBC that President Trump should be banished from American politics.
She said, “How did we get here? Let’s extinguish him for good.”
On Wednesday morning, Joe Biden appeared on an episode of ABC’s The View, where host Whoopi Goldberg oddly referred to President Trump as “a bug.”
Biden responded by pretending to smash a bug on the talk show table.
The Trump War Room responded on X, stating, “Democrats are the party of violence.”
In July, Biden called Trump a “threat to this nation” and has referred to the 45th president as a “threat” on many similar occasions.
In 2023, Democrat Rep. Stacey Plaskett (Virgin Islands) stated that Trump “needs to be shot” when discussing the so-called “classified documents” case in Florida. She attempted to fix her verbal slip-up by correcting her word to “stopped.”
And don’t forget about the freshly resurfaced video of Lincoln Project co-founder Rick Wilson stating (back in 2015), that the GOP donor class needed to “go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump,” via Breitbart.
There are many other such instances from far-left lawmakers and leaders, including Democrat Reps. Dan Goldman (N.Y.), Rep. Becca Balint (Vt.), Rep Mike Levin (Calif.), and Rep. Pat Ryan (N.Y.), who have all used the word “threat” to describe President Trump.
Shortly after the second assassination attempt on President Trump’s life on September 15, Rachel Vindman – a podcaster and wife of former murky “whistleblower” Alexander Vindman – posted this comment on X: “No ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday afternoon.”
President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., took issue with the remark.
“These people are f****** demented[,]” he wrote.
This kind of intense rhetoric begs the question: why is it acceptable for such talk to come from the mouths of talk show hosts and far-left lawmakers? The answer is that it’s not okay, but they repeatedly get away with it, nevertheless.
President Donald Trump observed recently that because of the vitriolic nature of such statements, “the bullets are flying, and it will only get worse!”
He added, “The Rhetoric, Lies, as exemplified by the false statements made by Comrade Kamala Harris during the rigged and highly partisan ABC Debate, and all of the ridiculous lawsuits specifically designed to inflict damage on Joe’s, then Kamala’s, Political Opponent, ME, has taken politics in our Country to a whole new level of Hatred, Abuse, and Distrust.”
What happened to an America where ideas could be discussed and debated without Communist-style threats and violent sentiments coming from unhinged radicals? To be opposed to a candidate is one thing – to repeatedly suggest that such a candidate is a physical or violent threat or to even call for or allude to violence against him is unacceptable.
Trump is not a “threat” to democracy. His political opponents are.
Never mind the fact that America is not a democracy at all. The United States is a constitutional republic.
In a letter from John Adams to John Taylor in 1814, Adams touched on the destructive nature of a pure democracy, which enables mob rule.
He wrote:
“Remember Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes exhausts and murders itself. There never was a Democracy Yet, that did not commit suicide. It is in vain to Say that Democracy is less vain, less proud, less selfish, less ambitious or less avaricious than Aristocracy or Monarchy.”
It’s a sleight of hand, really, when communists in America refer to Trump as a “threat to democracy.” In doing so, they accidentally expose themselves for what they are: power-hungry mobsters hoping to destroy freedom by forcing their bad policies upon citizens via unconstitutional legislation, illegal immigration, and dubious election processes (Venezuela, anyone?).
They would love for America to function as a pure democracy, and so in their minds, Trump is indeed a political opponent to be reckoned with.
Trump is an ally of the republic and a populist leader. Far-left radicals – whether they are Democrat or not – use terminology like democracy to turn heads and appeal to weak-minded voters, but do not be deceived.
The only violent hatred being spewed in 2024 is from those who cannot handle being held accountable by the American people in a republican system designed to give a voice to the minority as well as the majority.
Their vile rhetoric will go down in history as a stain on America’s legacy and a reminder of what tyranny looks like when it’s about to pounce.
