On Tuesday night, President Donald Trump delivered a speech to a joint session of Congress just 43 days into his second term, presenting a clear-eyed and forward-looking vision of a burgeoning Golden Age – and Democrats, predictably, threw the biggest hissy fit ever seen.
Democrat Rep. Al Green (Texas) began the theatrics by refusing to take his seat even after being chastised by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. Eventually, the Sergeant-at-Arms was asked to escort the belligerent congressman out of the chamber.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, predictably stormed out of the chamber at one point. Democrats as a whole also booed and caused disturbances throughout the speech.
Democrat females in the chamber on Tuesday wore Pepto Bismol pink to puzzlingly protest the president’s address, and yet these are the same women who couldn’t be bothered to stand and applaud during bipartisan moments honoring special American females:
- Honoring the Stephanie Diller, widow of slain NYPD officer Jonathan Diller,
- Honoring the mothers of Laken Riley and Jocelyn Nungaray – two young women slain brutally by illegal alien gang members,
- Honoring Payton McNabb, a former high school athlete who was traumatically injured by a transgender (read: male) volleyball player on an opposing team,
- Elliston Berry, a 15-year-old girl who was the victim of vicious computer-generated deepfake graphic images circulated by cruel peers at school, bringing attention to the ‘Take It Down Act’ passed by the Senate and championed by First Lady Melania Trump.
And in another stunning display of cruelty, Democrats pointedly ignored a 13-year-old terminally ill cancer patient named D.J. Daniels, who became an honorary Secret Service agent during the speech, prompting the young boy to hug Secret Service Director Sean Curran in a tear-jerking moment.
What kind of people can’t even stand for someone like that?
It must be stated bluntly: Democrats do not represent the American people. They represent themselves, their own corruption, their own abuse of power, and their own fraud and waste. Democrats’ antics played poorly on national television. They came across as arrogant, spoiled, petulant, and deranged.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration threw open the shades and let sunlight disinfect the disgusting rot of Washington for viewers tuning in. It was effective.
Whether he was laying out the obscene abuse and waste exposed by Elon Musk and DOGE or championing securing the border and stopping illegal immigration, the president stated the facts plainly, and without fear.
Democrats didn’t even try to maintain decorum.
In fact, President Trump himself offered an astute observation:
This is my fifth such speech to Congress, and once again, I look at the Democrats in front of me, and I realize there is absolutely nothing I can say to make them happy or to make them stand or smile or applaud – nothing I can do. I could find a cure to the most devastating disease, a disease that would wipe out entire nations, or announce the answers to the greatest economy in history or the stoppage of crime to the lowest levels ever recorded, and these people sitting right here will not clap, will not stand and certainly will not cheer for these astronomical achievements. They won’t do it no matter what… It’s very sad, and it just shouldn’t be this way.
He’s right. The Democrats will never be happy because under the leadership of an America First president and his cabinet, it is equality, justice, meritocracy, and sovereignty that reign supreme.
The communists who occupy Washington cannot contend with such things, because they are anti-American to the core. They support defending the borders of far-away Ukraine, but not the borders of the United States. They support the deluge violent illegal aliens, but refuse to show respect for the lives of sweet Laken Riley or Jocelyn Nungaray. They kneel for George Floyd, but ignore the sacrifice of Jonathan Diller. They claim to be the “party of women,” but they refuse to define what a woman is and cheer the rabid abuse of men injuring women in sports and leering at them in locker rooms. They proclaim love and tolerance while celebrating the indoctrination of transgenderism upon America’s youth and advocating for life-altering medical procedures that mutilate young boys and girls nationwide.
The Democrats are not simply an opposing party. They are, indeed, the enemy of the American people. They are the opponents to liberty, justice, and safety. They are anti-woman. Anti-child. Anti-peace.
This is not hyperbole. No, this is, sadly, fact. They make no secret of their stances and make no claim to be anything other than what they are.
Truly, America is facing a simple but important battle: the choice between good and evil.
President Donald Trump’s speech was masterful and calm, and it presented Americans with a firm and powerful vision of exactly where this country is headed – and freedom-loving citizens are quickly leaving the Democrats and communists in the dust behind them.
Perhaps the president’s most laudable achievement last night was exposing the Democrats’ unhinged behavior without lifting a finger. All he had to do was speak, and they lost their minds.
The radical left has proven themselves to be politically irrelevant, and it is likely this trend will continue.
Their deeds are no longer hidden. Their fraudulent activities are no longer safely tucked away. And the American people are not going to put up with it anymore.
As the president said on Tuesday: “America is BACK.”
