For many Americans, January 20, 2025, couldn’t come soon enough – but as of today, President Donald Trump is back in the White House, and his second term has officially begun.
His inauguration – which was held indoors inside the U.S. Capitol Rotunda – was a wonderful expression of patriotism, hope, and unity. Between hymns, prayers, and beautiful operatic performances, it was a moment that will long be remembered for those patriots who lived through the darkness of the Biden years.
Monday’s ceremony marked a turning point for America – a pivot toward greatness and success, and a rejection of collapse and misery.
“Ambition is the lifeblood of this great nation,” Trump said in in address.
He reiterated his many promises during his speech, vowing that if Americans came together in unity, there was nothing they couldn’t do. “In America, the impossible is what we do best,” he said.
The president lauded the incredible success of his America First agenda with the people, who he said was unifying around it like never before. “National unity is now returning to America and confidence and pride is soaring like never before,” he stated.
He continued, “We will not forget our country, we will not forget our Constitution, and we will not forget our God.”
The president also made a series of reiterated promises that he would immediately address:
- Stop the illegal alien invasion and designate the cartels as terrorist organizations,
- Invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798,
- Address the economy and rapidly bring down prices and costs,
- Drill for oil and unleash American energy,
- Declare a National Energy Emergency to accomplish this quickly,
- Terminate the EV mandate,
- End the Green New Deal,
- End government censorship,
- Overhaul the trade system and focus on collecting tariffs and duties from foreign countries,
- Use such funds to create the External Revenue Service,
- Officially recognize only two genders: male and female,
- Establish the Department of Government Efficiency,
- Change the name of the “Gulf of Mexico” to the “Gulf of America.”
“Many people thought it was impossible for me to stage such a historic political comeback, [but] as you see here today, here I am: the American people have spoken,” Trump told the crowd.
In a stirring conclusion, President Trump echoed the courageous spirit of our Founding Fathers.
“We will not be conquered, we will not be intimidated, we will not be broken and we will not fail,” he said. “…Nothing will stand in our way because we are Americans, the future is ours and our Golden Age has just begun.”
A new era is upon us, and President Donald Trump is here to lead the way forward.
