Last weekend, illegal migrants in Fresno, California, protested the upcoming deportation operation about to be set into motion by President Donald Trump on January 20, as soon as he steps foot in the Oval Office.

Demonstrators held Mexican flags and blocked the road on a major boulevard cutting through the city near a well-trafficked shopping center. Some of the protestors were heard shouting, “Viva La Mexico!”

Ironically, illegals protesting deportation is a symptom of their self-aggrandizing privilege – freedom of speech and the right to protest is a constitutional right enshrined for American citizens, so it is odd to see foreigners who crossed the border illegally attempt to seize such a right for themselves.

But it’s no wonder illegals don’t want to leave. There are many financial incentives for being here (free healthcare, free public education, low-income assistance/housing, WIC (food stamps), state-funded preschool, etc.).

This is especially true in states like California, where leftist policies have prioritized the needs of illegal aliens over tax-paying, law-abiding citizens.

Incredibly, these same illegals are privileged enough to stand on a street corner and scream about the superiority of a country they refuse to return to while demanding safety, security, and benefits from a country they fled to in violation of our laws.

It makes no sense, and the world knows it.

With as many as 20 million or more illegal entrants into America over the past four years (so says President Trump), the truth is uncomfortably hard to swallow: America has been invaded by foreign forces from around the world, ranging from Venezuela to China.

The insanity of this is not lost on American citizens – that’s why they re-elected President Donald Trump in a landslide. They’re sick and tired of their own needs and rights taking a backseat to those who have openly broken the law.

As blue cities in California (like San Diego) posture to resist the deportation operation, incoming Border Czar Tom Homan has pointedly made it clear that he is perfectly willing to jail those who commit a federal offense by harboring or concealing illegal aliens from law enforcement.

And let’s be clear: the border operation is not about politics. It’s about basic safety.

Since Joe Biden’s catastrophic open border policies, illegal-related crime has risen nationwide. Human trafficking is skyrocketing. Fentanyl is flowing across the border like water and killing our children.

Last fall, ICE Deputy Director Patrick Lechleitner revealed that more than 600,000 illegals with criminal histories were released into the United States while awaiting immigration proceedings under the Biden administration (data as of July 1, 2024) – meaning they are free to wander in America.

According to this official data published on Border Report, more than 15,000 of those illegals have been previously convicted of sexual assault, over 56,000 have been convicted of drug possession, and more than 2,000 have been convicted of kidnapping charges.

And those are just the criminals we know about. With millions of entrants flooding into the United States without being detected or detained at any point, there are likely hundreds of thousands more – and this is reflected as we see more horrible stories pop up across the country in the murders of innocent girls like 22-year-old Laken Riley (who was murdered in Georgia by an illegal migrant here from Venezuela) or Jocelyn Nungaray (a 12 year old girl lured from her home and brutally raped and murdered by illegal Venezuelan migrants).

America is no longer a safe and secure country. America is quickly devolving into a third-world environment as illegals flood into our communities, refuse to respect our values and culture, pillage our resources, and worst of all, threaten the safety and security of our most vulnerable members of society: women and children.

The good news is that in anticipation of President Trump’s deportation operation, there will be plenty of states that will cooperate.

Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., on Monday called a special session in Florida to require local officials to enforce the deportation efforts as soon as Trump takes office.

“We have a responsibility to be in this fight. State and local officials in Florida must help the Trump administration enforce our nation’s immigration law,” he said.

Even in California – which is currently under the leadership of Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom – there has been sudden movement in terms of the Border Patrol cracking down on illegals concentrated in the Central Valley.

According to ABC30, 78 potential illegals have been detained in Kern and Fresno counties in an operation aimed at cracking down on criminals possibly involved with human/drug trafficking.

President Trump has made it clear that sealing the border and stopping illegal immigration is his top priority on day one of his new administration.

“On day one of the Trump presidency, I will restore the travel ban, suspend refugee admissions, stop the resettlement and keep the terrorists the hell out of our country,” he said in July 2024 during a rally.

Additionally, Trump has promised to do the following in terms of addressing the violent and destructive impacts of illegal immigration:

  • Eliminate the Biden migrant app, CBP One, which has aided illegals in swiftly and efficiently entering the United States,
  • End birthright citizenship,
  • Finish the wall at the southern border,
  • Declare war on the drug cartels and designate them as foreign terrorist organizations,
  • Ask Congress to pass legislation ensuring convicted drug smugglers/traffickers receive the death penalty,
  • Call for the death penalty for any illegal alien convicted of murdering an American citizen or law enforcement officer,
  • Eliminating endless welfare for illegal aliens, including making illegals ineligible for public housing, ineligible to procure a work permit, and making it illegal (via a bill written up by Congress) for any president to distribute welfare to aliens in this way.

In a 2023 video, President Trump explained, “Like automatic citizenship for children of illegal aliens, welfare is a gigantic magnet drawing people from all over the world. They want to come to the United States. They want to feast off the sweat and savings of the American taxpayer. It’s not fair. It’s not just. We’re not going to let it happen. I will end it all immediately.”

  1. It’s going to be interesting to see how this actually goes down. I think the riots are going to be the biggest in our history, even if they do start with illegals in jail. But it has to be done.
