President Donald Trump reminded the nation that he is a man who respects the thin blue line on Tuesday while attending a memorial service in Palm Beach, Florida, to honor three fallen law enforcement officers who perished in a car crash.

The 45th and 47th president-elect was joined by his son, Eric Trump, and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The president also met with the families of the fallen officers: Deputy Sheriff Dan Diaz, Corporal Luis Paez, and Deputy Sheriff Butch Walker. According to Trump Deputy Director of Communications Margo Martin, the flags presented today to their surviving families were previously flown over the U.S. Capitol to honor them.

The president’s attendance at the memorial service Tuesday was one action in a series this week that stood in stark contrast to Joe Biden’s approach to leadership – President Trump’s strength versus the Biden regime’s weakness.

President Trump drew attention to the ongoing hostage crisis in the Middle East in the wake of the deadly Hamas incursion into Israel. In his comments, he issued a stern warning.

He wrote on Truth Social:

Please let this TRUTH serve to represent that if the hostages are not released prior to January 20, 2025, the date that I proudly assume Office as President of the United States, there will be ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity. Those responsible will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America. RELEASE THE HOSTAGES NOW!

With the inauguration just weeks away, President Trump is rapidly assembling his cabinet and preparing to implement his agenda on day one of his new administration.

Amid the planning, the president will travel abroad this weekend in a show of diplomacy and respect for an important event.

President Trump announced Monday that he will be traveling to Paris, France, on Saturday to attend the re-opening of the newly restored Notre Dame cathedral. He wrote on Truth, “President Emmanuel Macron has done a wonderful job ensuring that Notre Dame has been restored to its full level of glory, and even more so. It will be a very special day for all!”
