California Gov. Gavin Newsom and his fleet of far-left leadership talking heads in the Golden State have begun making immediate moves to attempt to block President Trump from implementing his America First agenda in their state.
President Donald Trump has said repeatedly that he will kick start a nationwide deportation operation on Day One of his new administration, and he has also said he will end sanctuary cities. The illegal immigration crisis has reached a zenith under the Biden-Harris administration, and California citizens have suffered tremendously with the burden of millions of illegal aliens flooded in towns and cities across the state.
Just two days after President Donald Trump’s historic landslide win, Newsom stated that he will refuse to deport illegal aliens when Trump takes office on January 20, 2025.
Newsom has ironically claimed that he is convening a special session to block “any unlawful actions by the incoming Trump Administration” and referenced issues supposedly under threat like “reproductive freedom, or climate action.”
It is important to note that many counties in California flipped red in this election – and the state contributed several million votes toward the national popular vote, which Trump won resoundingly this year.
It’s a fact that California’s multi-million Republican voting bloc is overshadowed by the blue strongholds of the coastline. There is also no real form of election security in California – voter I.D. has even been banned, and all California voters automatically receive a mail-in ballot every election, whether they like it or not.
Illegal aliens in California may also be having a profound effect on the vote. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has suggested as much, warning that these foreigners who have gained entry to America are likely casting illegal ballots – and why not? There’s no way to track or vet their activity.
Newsom’s political posturing to resist Trump’s incoming agenda has not gained him any popularity points with the 45th president and 47th president-elect.
He wrote on Truth Social on Friday:
Governor Gavin Newscum is trying to KILL our Nation’s beautiful California. For the first time ever, more people are leaving than are coming in. He is using the term “Trump-Proof” as a way of stopping all of the GREAT things that can be done to “Make California Great Again,” but I just overwhelmingly won the Election. People are being forced to leave due to his, & other’s, INSANE POLICY DECISIONS, like the ridiculously rerouting of MILLIONS OF GALLONS OF WATER A DAY FROM THE NORTH OUT INTO THE PACIFIC OCEAN, rather than using it, free of charge, for the towns, cities, & farms dotted all throughout California.
The president slammed plummeting manufacturing in California, along with the chaotic homelessness problem statewide and the “cost of EVERYTHING, in particular ‘groceries,’ IS OUT OF CONTROL.”
President Trump also explained, “Also, as an ‘AGENT’ for the United States of America on Voting & Elections, I will be DEMANDING THAT VOTER I.D., AND PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, ARE A NECESSARY PART AND COMPONENT OF THE VOTING PROCESS!”
It sounds like President Donald Trump is ready to do political battle with Gov. Newsom, which is a hopeful sign for those who live in California and would appreciate relief from the issues the president mentioned – with a special emphasis on stopping illegal immigration and sanctuary cities.
