Kamala Harris lashed out at President Donald Trump on Wednesday, desperately attempting to liken him to “Adolf Hitler” in yet another example of Democrats’ extreme rhetoric against the 45th president.
Harris reiterated a report about John Kelly, the former White House chief of staff during the Trump administration, who made several bombastic claims about his former boss – claims that have been immediately eviscerated by many others.
It’s important to note that John Kelly is responsible for the propagation of the debunked “losers and suckers” hoax.
Kelly spoke to The New York Times and described the president as having a “dictator approach” and “authoritarian.”
“He said he wanted generals like Adolf Hitler said, Donald Trump said that because he does not want a military that is loyal to the United States Constitution, he wants a military to him,” Harris claimed in her remarks.
Harris incorrectly stated that Trump had called his “fellow Americans” the “enemy from within.”
This is erroneous – President Trump has often used this phrase during his speeches to refer to the underlying corruption within the domestic United States and its shadowed power players that start endless foreign wars and throw open the border.
She bizarrely claimed that Trump would “use” the U.S. military to “go after” American citizens. There is, of course, no evidence for this.
“It is incredibly dangerous that Trump would invoke Adolf Hitler, that man who is responsible for deaths of six million Jews, and hundreds of thousands of Americans,” she claimed.
It is startling that in the final 13 day lead-up to the election that Kamala Harris has no better argument to lean on than, “Donald Trump is LITERALLY Hitler!”
The Trump campaign swung back at Harris on Wednesday with an excoriating statement.
“Kamala Harris is a stone-cold loser who is increasingly desperate because she is flailing, and her campaign is in shambles. That is why she continues to peddle outright lies and falsehoods that are easily disproven,” said Trump campaign communications director Steven Cheung.
Incredibly, this kind of rhetoric from the left continues to be regurgitated by mainstream media talking heads, despite the threat it has posed to President Trump, who has thus far survived at least two confirmed assassination attempts.
Cheung continued in his statement:
“The fact is that Kamala’s dangerous rhetoric is directly to blame for the multiple assassination attempts against President Trump and she continues to stoke the flames of violence all in the name of politics. She is despicable and her grotesque behavior proves she is wholly unfit for office.”
