When President Donald J. Trump was in office, most Americans felt comfortable knowing that the country was leading from a position of strength and that Trump’s policies always put America first.
With Joe Biden at the helm, America has resorted to a policy of weakness. Biden has made America much less safe by destabilizing the Middle East, failing in Afghanistan, and allowing droves of illegal immigrants to enter the country.
Kamala Harris will continue Biden’s weak and terrible policies, will continue to make America less safe, and will put Americans at risk.
Trump’s legacy of peace vs. Harris’s legacy of weakness
During President Trump’s first term, the Middle East was not on fire like it is now. Israel had a friend in America and enjoyed unwavering American support. Trump terminated the terrible Iran deal and starved Iran financially, thereby squeezing and eliminating its ability to fund its various proxies. Under Trump, adversaries knew not to test America’s resolve.
During Trump’s first term, the nation’s borders were also secure and those who sought to enter the country had to do so legally or face deportation. As a result, the nation’s border crossings were under control and America was much safer.
Tragically, for the past four years, this has not been the case. Under the Biden-Harris administration, the nation has become much more dangerous. Biden and Harris have failed to lead through strength and have appeased the nation’s adversaries.
From day one, they have portrayed weakness and a willingness to put America and Americans last. While Harris has tried to distance herself from Biden, this is merely a ruse to garner votes. In reality, Harris is Biden 2.0 on steroids. She is more extreme and radical and promotes a far-left agenda.
As a matter of fact, as reported by Fox News, during a recent interview on The View, co-host Sunny Hostin asked Harris, “If anything, would you have done something differently than President Biden during the past four years?”
In response, Harris stated, “There is not a thing that comes to mind.”
The Middle East is on fire
While Harris would not change anything, the Middle East is on fire and Israel’s adversaries do not fear or respect the current administration. To the contrary, they thrive and welcome its weakness. While Israel, one of America’s biggest allies, has been at war with Hamas and Iran’s numerous proxies for over one year, this administration has continued to pressure Israel to refrain from striking back too hard or to target Iran’s nuclear or oil facilities.
This administration has also tried to push Israel into accepting a “deal” that would hurt Israel and that would inevitably result in another October 7-style attack (or worse) in the future. Biden also infamously warned Iran not to attack Israel or American troops by using terms like “Don’t.”
As expected, Iran dismissed and disregarded Biden’s warning on at least two separate occasions. Biden’s weakness has led to an explosive situation in the Middle East. Under Trump, this was not the case.
The administration’s embarrassing and tragic withdrawal from Afghanistan also put Americans at risk, led to the deaths of many U.S. service members, and left billions of dollars of sophisticated American equipment behind that has been used by the Taliban or sold to other groups or countries with likely nefarious intent.
This failure was directly tied to Biden’s weak foreign policy and poor leadership. As a result, Afghanistan is currently in disarray and the country is, once again, a potential haven for terrorist groups, thereby putting the American homeland at risk.
An illegal immigration crisis beyond imagination
While this administration’s Middle East policies and tragic withdrawal from Afghanistan have put Americans at risk, perhaps its biggest and most pressing failure relates to its immigration and border policies. From his first day in office, Biden reversed many of Trump’s immigration policies, such as the remain-in-Mexico policy, although they worked very well to curb the flow of illegal immigrants entering the country.
Due to Biden’s irresponsible decisions, the southern border of the United States has been inundated by illegal immigrants, many of whom are unvetted or subsequently released into American society. According to Fox News, “Illegal immigration has remained a top issue for voters ever since, and that has been highlighted by a number of shocking, high-profile crimes committed by those in the country without authorization.”
Due to Biden’s terrible border policies, crime has increased in various cities, schools do not have room or space for those who are there illegally, some cities are facing a housing crisis due to increasing populations, and American taxpayers are helping immigrants pay for housing.
More alarmingly, according to a recent report, since 2021, “the Biden-Harris Administration has released into American communities at least 99 illegal aliens on the terrorist watchlist.”
Harris will continue or worsen Biden’s border disaster. Like Biden, Harris supported the decision to roll back the various Trump-era border policies despite their effectiveness in reducing illegal border crossings.
However, Harris also seems to align with a more progressive approach when it comes to immigration and has expressed her intention to expand the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) program and provide additional protections to illegal immigrants by executive order authority. Moreover, as reported by the Washington Examiner:
As a senator, she fought against Trump’s efforts to increase funding for new Border Patrol agents and migrant detention beds. She also tried to defund Immigration and Customs Enforcement and funnel that money to non-profit organizations that encourage illegal immigration.
As a presidential candidate, Harris said she wanted to decriminalize illegal border crossings, which even Biden was not prepared to do. Harris also said she would extend free healthcare to illegal immigrants, a policy her radical home state of California has since implemented.
Simply put, Harris will not make the country safer but will make it even more dangerous by making it easier for those who want to enter the country illegally to do so or providing them additional protections.
The Biden-Harris administration has made America a more dangerous place to live. The Middle East is on fire, the Afghanistan debacle emboldened and armed the Taliban, the country has been inundated by illegal immigrants who are unvetted, and the nation’s adversaries do not respect or fear Biden or Harris. Despite these various dangers and the fact that America is much less safe, Kamala Harris is unable to think of anything she would change.
For the sake of the nation, Americans must re-elect Trump come November.
