President Donald Trump has a special talent for entertaining audiences as much as he can inspire patriotic zeal, and on Tuesday, he drummed up some laughs from an enthusiastic crowd in Georgia when he recounted Kamala Harris’s history of fudging the details.
“She lied about McDonald’s,” Trump said during remarks in Savannah.
Kamala Harris has claimed that she worked at McDonald’s in 2019. “I worked in McDonald’s. I was a student when I was working at McDonald’s,” she said, via the Express Tribune.
“She never worked there, it was a lie,” Trump told the audience.
He joked that he was going to go to McDonald’s and “stand over the French fries cuz’ I want to see what her job really wasn’t like.”
On Monday, Trump called on Harris to retract her claim that she had worked at McDonald’s.
He wrote on Truth Social:
“Kamala should take down and disavow all of her Statements that she worked for McDonald’s. These Statements go back a long way, and were also used openly throughout the Campaign — UNTIL SHE GOT CAUGHT. She must apologize to the American people for lying!
It’s unclear what the truth is about Harris’s McDonald’s claim. Some have alleged that McDonald’s has no record of her employment with the company.
It is interesting to note that McDonald’s has not yet entered the chat on the situation and has not offered to clarify if there is, indeed, any record of Harris working at one of their famous Golden Arches locations.
Trump’s point in bringing up the McDonald’s question was to illustrate Harris’s tendency to become whatever she needs to be to try and relate to voters. “She wants to have no fracking,” he said.

However, now that she’s running for president, she has seemingly retracted that position. So…which one is it?
Harris has also attempted to appear tough on immigration policy, something that even hard-left publication Vox has noticed. “How is Kamala Harris getting away with this?” one article written by Christian Paz asked.
Harris has done nothing to secure the border as vice president, so it’s hard to believe that she suddenly supports border security now.
